The food was bomb ! So authentic and yummy. I got curry Goat, rice and peas, Mac and cheese, and a beef patty. For less than $24 I was very pleased. The wait time was quite long, approximately 45 minutes but it was worth it. Also, the portion sizes were excellent. Ps. This place has no one on one contact with staff. And everything is ordered online or through the kiosk. Only Takeout, no dine in.

First time customer and stumbled upon this place! Food was 9/10. Curry chicken plate Came out fresh and hot! Meat was tender and falling off of the bone. Placed my order at 4:00 received a text that it was ready by 4:20. Very fast service. The reason why it wasn’t a 10/10 is because of the Mac and cheese. Wasn’t my personal favorite but it could be due to the fact that thicker shells were used. The beef patty was incredible! compared to other Jamaican spots, I did think this place was affordable. You get a lot of food for the amount you pay. really hard to find a good Jamaican spot in this area but I will be returning to this restaurant.

Update: I deducted a star because the inconsistency in the portions is wild. If you get the goat, you have to ensure you tell them to not fill it with bones. It’s a hit or miss and unfortunate when you order meat only goat and get a bunch of bones. Goat has bones but it doesn’t need to be that many where there is barely enough meat. The festivals sometimes come out super hard and undercooked as well. Past review: Best Jamaican food in the area. The taste is VERY authentic. The chef is from Jamaica and so that explains it. The curry chicken and provisions as the side is amazing! The curry goat is wow. The stew chicken too. The festivals are great and the fry dumplings. The jerk chicken is great except the sauce. However I would go for the bbq jerk instead as that sauce is more complimentary. I have been to all Jamaican spots in DC and Maryland and I can confidently say this is in the top 3. Just make sure to order ahead as it can sometimes take some time.

Delicious! This is my second time having their cake and salt fish and they did not disappoint. This is an order and pick up, not a sit down restaurant. Order ahead. I’m a Caribbean woman from Miami and I know seasoning and authentic Caribbean food. Since moving to Virginia a lot of “just okay” food. The portion sizes are reasonable given the price. It tastes like someone’s Jamaican grandma made it in her kitchen. I’ve had several trendy or famous Jamaican food in the DMV area and this for me is the most memorable. The photo is of the brown stew chicken and rice and peas. I devoured the ackee before I can take photo.

I ordered using Uber eats. The food was the best tasting food I’ve had in a while. The chef and cook’s really delivered a tasty well seasoned meal. My husband and I ordered the oxtails meals with mixed stir Fry, rice and peas, Mac & cheese. Our son had the jerk chicken with 2x Mac& cheese sides. Rave reviews for the chef and his team!!! We will be ordering again soon. Oh, and the quantity very generous.

This Curry Goat with rice and peas was mouth-watering! The flavor was great, mildly spicy and lightly salted, tender with bone in. Best authentic dish I've had across the country! I travel a lot, both domestically and internationally. I thought this meal was home-cooked by a Jamaican auntie or uncle! It was a a large serving, value for money! ordered on Door dash, the packaging and temperature was perfect.

This place is this far the best Jamaican place that I have tried. I have been grabbing brown stew chicken atleast 3-4 times a week. I highly recommend this place if you like Caribbean cuisine.

Take out only!! It’s located inside a food hall but you can only enter the lobby with kiosk and lockers. Just enter the lobby and call the number when your food is ready they will bring it down to you . Uber Drivers gets a code to pick up food from the locker . Parking may be tight but it’s not too bad. You can park beside the gas station. My first time here and it won’t be the last. Beef patty was 10/10 ! Jerk chicken 10/10! Sides were also good and plentiful. Portion was 10/10 . Thank you!
